Definition Of:

Tie Breaker Serving Order

Tennis GlossaryTennis Glossary
When the score is 6-all in games, the first point of the tie breaker is served by the receiver in the previous game. That person serves one point to the deuce side (the left side). The serve then goes to the opponent and they serve two points starting on the ad side (the right side). Then two points are served from there on out until someone gets to seven and wins by a margin of two. The players switch side every six points while keeping the same serving order as well.
