Feed-In Consolation (FIC)
This is also known as the "back draw". If a player loses their a round or match in a tournament, they feed into the consolation draw (if the tournament offers this). Then they get another chance to play a match and maybe get a win under their belt. Whichever players lose in this draw are eliminated.
